Everdome 2022 Highlights Part 3 of 6 - Everdome City Land Auctions 🗺 Starting at the end of May 2022, Everdome created a series of eight land auctions for plots of land across Everdome city. 🏘 Despite trying market conditions, over the eight weeks of land auctions we saw tremendous dedication & interest in owning part of a metaverse future, a piece of Everdome city. This interest proved that great ideas can flourish in any conditions, & we were overwhelmed with the support that the reactions to our auctions showed. All purchases & bidding were conducted in $DOME, while all $DOME collected from the public auctions were burned. 👨‍🚀 These successful land auctions lead to circa 98% of all public lands becoming the ownership of our very own Evernaut pioneering community, & the final results were as follows: Land auction figures (total): 🔸 1,531,000,000 $DOME collected / ~$18.5M ($ value calculated weekly) 🔸 11,700 plots were sold (~97.5%) 🔸 ~130,000 $DOME / plot average 🔸 159,000,000 $DOME cash backs 🔸 1,372,000,000 $DOME burned 🙏 We once again thank all auction participants, as well as everyone supporting us through community participation, staking & feedback. 🚀 2023 will see us all take our first steps into a metaverse future on Everdome city in Mars, & we cannot wait to collaborate on development with our community of landholding pioneers. #TheJourneyHasBegun
